Hi,
Our gigastore suddenly starts a sound alarm. Reading the manuals, I tried to 'mute' this alarm by pressing the corresponding button on the frontpannel, but without success, we still here the sound.
Second problem: how to identify the alarm ??
In the Bios, the Hardware monitoring seems to be ok, the temperature for the CPU is 42 degrees (Celsius) and all the FANs display some RPM.

Typically this would point to a drive within the RAID array dropping out. I would suggest calling the technical support line for additional help. You can look within the Areca HTTP Proxy Server GUI to see if it shows any alarms on any drives.
